Manage your Inventory
Art Affair is the perfect inventory management program for professional jewelry designers and beaders. (The free Art Organizer includes much of the functionality of component inventory management also.) Components are all the things you use to create your artwork. Different types of artwork, of course, have different components, but the sample data included with Art Affair Software is based on beadwork and jewelry making. Art Affair lets you categorize your components in any way you choose because the categories are completely customizable. You can sort, filter, group, and search on any information you enter. Art Affair automaticallykeeps track of your supply of each component and warns you when supplies are low so you can reorder.
Ever dig through containers of beads looking for just the right thing to use in your current creation? Once you enter your componentinventory, you can sit at your computer to search for color, shape, and size and see instantly what you might have on hand that fits the bill.
Manage your Work
As you work on a piece, you can enter the time spent so you can later pay yourself. Enter the components used, and Art Affair automatically calculates their cost. When you finish, Art Affair will calculate a suggested wholesale, direct, or retail price, using your choice of markup, cost per hour for labor, consignment percentage, expenses, etc. You can generate an invoice by clicking a button. Time and lay-away payments can be handled as well as shipping information. When you sell a piece, your profits and salary are automatically calculated. There is also a facility to enter instructions for creating a work along with illustrations and/or photos.
Manage your Events and Shows
You can schedule events and shows you enter and/or attend. Tracking costs associated with each event is easy, and you can see at a glance how profitable the event was for you and what you sold at that event. Art Affair also includes a detailed schedule/calendar to help you get a handle on your time. You can record anything in the schedule such as due dates for commissioned work, classes, events, and more

Contacts are critical, and Art Affair lets you record information about vendors, customers, consigners, prospects, and more. You can see what each customer has purchased from you and what you have purchased from each vendor.
Reports and Charts
Many standard reports are also included with Art Affair, and more will be added based on customer requests on a weekly or monthly basis. The reports can be printed, saved as a file to import into Word or Excel, or saved as PDF files. Some very useful charts and graphs are also included.
