The Perfect Gift to Rewards Acts of Kindness

Angel-Pin575

Beginner LevelAngels are probably the single most made symbol. I am sure we have all seen retail stores dedicated to the single item of “Angels”. The sentiments behind the Angel means many things to many people, but most of all it says “I care and I love you”. Send an Angel to someone who you care about or some that has done something good for you.

About the Artist

TrishHodgens175I was born and raised in Texas and have been interested in arts and crafts all my life. My loving husband puts up with the many hours I spend on my work. All my experiences, including photography, scrap booking, web design and working with bread dough when my two daughters were young, have lead to this wonderful business of polymer clay!

After writing my first book, Recycling with Polymer Clay, I realized that I could get more projects to more people by starting the Poly Clay Play Club. I create clay pieces, and then write the instructions for more than ten club projects every month. Soon we will be starting the Kids Poly Clay Play Club which will include products to play with clay, along with fun clay projects that I have designed and written. The Kid’s Club has been a fun process and I am looking forward to launching it.

In addition to the club projects, I try to write a project at least once a month for my web site visitors to enjoy and publish a newsletter announcing the project and what is new at my site. Come Poly Clay Play with me at www.PolyClayPlay.com/Invitation.htm

The-PublisherLWhat’s Going On?

pp-015-Goddess-Pendant-5-9-08We have been publishing the Daily edition for about a week now, and it has not been without some pain and frustration. A major server problem had slowed down delivery (and sometimes stopped it as well) of your issue of BeadBugle.Com Daily. We are still working on some of the problems and have a newer, bigger, faster server on order. Be patient with us just a little longer and we will be like a 50,000 watt radio station blasting out to you!.

We learned a few days ago that Jeanette Shanigan will not be providing you with “Quick and Easy” beading projects or her “Beading Aspiration” column for awhile, we seriously hope she will restart in the fall. Jeanette and her husband have taken a late spring and summer job with Holland American Line. Jeanette is going to be an Alaska Travel Guide and will be doing craft classes as well on each voyage. She will be working on the ship, Ryndam that covers SE Alaska with round trips out of Vancouver. So if you are thinking of cruising around Alaska you might want to look Jeanette up and take her classes. Hmmmm cruising all summer in beautiful Alaska and meeting beaders.....not a bad summer job.

As you all know, BeadBugle.Com is possible because the beading community shares more projects, techniques, stories and resources than any other hobby group. If you would like to write a column about any facet of beading we would love to hear from you. We are also looking for step-by-step projects and stories about beading. Do you have any pictures of your favorite jewelry or bead? We would love to share your work with our readers. Just send pictures and description of your work to wjohnson@beadbugle.com and we can publish it generally within a few days of receiving it. If you would also like to include a picture of yourself, we would love to include that with your work of art.

One of the things you will be seeing a lot of in the coming weeks are reprints of Rena Klingenberg’s “Tips and Tricks” column. We are currently working on getting all of her past columns into our archives and there are several that have not be converted to PDF formats. So in addition to the regular Daily feature we will be also giving you a bonus with some of Rena’s older columns. Hope you enjoy them.

We would love to hear from you regarding both the Monthly and Daily editions of BeadBugle.Com, so please drop us quick e-mail and give us your thoughts as well as pictures of your favorite piece of beading art. Simply click here and write us.
