The 23 bracelets in this booklet are organized in the categories of stringing, fringing, wirework, and beadweaving. Three strung bracelets include a clever two-strand by Irina Miech, and Alice Korach has a colorful cluster of elastic bracelets and a 3-to-1 stone and pearl bracelet. The two fringe bracelets are Suzanne Golden’s triple fringe strand and Ella Johnson-Bentley’s leaf fringe bracelet. There are two wirework bracelets by Wendy Witchner and one by Lori Merel. Flat peyote stitch is used as the basis of five patterns, including a plain bangle by Mindy Brooks, a seed and bugle band by Gail Tanner, a lacy band combined with netting by June Huber, two easy embellished strips by Beverly Mayfield and Carol Perrenoud (you can get the 3.3mm cylinder beads from Carol at (www.beadcats.com), and a diagonally embellished square bead band. Square stitch is embellished with close loops by Linda Gettings and with loop fringe by Gayle Goddard. Anne N. Kloss uses it to create a two-color reversible band. There’s a simple tubular herringbone bracelet by Dottie Hoeschen, and Anne Kloss uses a variation on brick -stitch to create a diagonal band. Pam O’Connor uses fire-polished, faceted beads for a stretchy right-angle weave cuff and Karen Frankfeldt and Carol Straus embellish the stitch with pearls. Finally, Anna Nehs and Pam Nichols create two vastly different triangular variations of right-angle weave. Basic techniques and stitches are included.
