Easy Bead Woven Bracelets[1].pdf - Adobe Reader

“We decided to introduce new beaders to all the major seed-bead weaving stitches with jewelry projects that would appeal to everyone”

“When you walk in to a bead store and see a wall covered with strands and tubes of seed beads in every color of the rainbow, they’re pretty nearly irresistible, even if you don’t have any use in mind for them. This book solves that problem.

We decided to introduce new beaders to all the major seed-bead weaving stitches with jewelry projects that would appeal to everyone. We’ve included one brick-stitch earring and a wonderful array of bracelets that use netting, peyote stitch, right-angle weave, Ndebele herringbone, and square stitch. If you enjoy making the bracelets, just keep going until you have a bracelet.

These projects require either beading needles (#10 or #12) with some sort of thread or beading wire. Many of the projects use Swarovski crystals and Japanese cylinder beads (Delicas). Feel free to substitute Czech fire-polished beads for the crystals and size 11° seed beads for the cylinder beads. Also try using larger or smaller seed beads for very different looks.”
