This clear, well written book is an outstanding resource for the newest beginner to beadwork as well as the experienced bead embroiderer.
It’s amazing how things come together. I wasrecently asked to recommend sources for bead embroidery information. Had I seen Margaret’s new book then, it would have been at the top of my list. This clear, well-written book is an outstanding resource for the newest beginner to beadwork as well as the experienced bead embroiderer. Margaret begins with an excellent explanation of beads, fabrics, tools, and techniques and includes a useful list of sources. But the glory of the book is the more than 100 stitches and their variations. Each is clearly depicted in line drawings and accompanied with step-by-step directions. In addition, six projects conclude the book. – Alice Korach
