by Trish Hodgens

“Connect individual polymer pieces to create a unique charm Pendant”

ca-500

Beginner LevelIn the Cane Angel project by Trish, she cleverly has assembled an angel pendant from four polymer clay pieces that she crafted. Using jump rings as the connectors the four individual pieces form an attractive angel pendant. The beauty of this project is that it can be made with nearly any existing cane, in any color.

For those of you that may be beginners or new to Polymer Clay the term cane describes “a btn_downloadebookfat snake of clay with a pattern running through it. If you cut off a slice, it will look like all the other slices cut from the same snake.

TrishHodgens175About the Artist

I was born and raised in Texas and have been interested in arts and crafts all my life. My loving husband puts up with the many hours I spend on my work. All my experiences, including photography, scrapbooking, web design and working with bread dough when my two daughters were young, have lead to this wonderful business of polymer clay!

After writing my first book, “Recycling with Polymer Clay”, I realized that I could get more projects to more people by starting the Poly Clay Play Club. I create clay pieces, then write the instructions for more than ten club projects every month. Soon we will be starting the Kids Poly Clay Play Club which will include products to play with clay, along with fun clay projects that I have designed and written. The Kid’s Club has been a fun process and I am looking forward to launching it.

In addition to the club projects, I try to write a project at least once a month for my web site visitors to enjoy and publish a newsletter announcing the project and what is new at my site. Come Poly Clay Play with me at www.PolyClayPlay.com/Invitation.htm
