Stephanie Trice
My name is Stephanie Trice and I live in Houston, Texas. I am married and my husband I have two lovely daughters. When I am not playing with beads, I work in a library in Houston. Many of you may know me as Ladymojo from my e-mail address.
I have been beading on and off for almost 20 years and think I will stick with the hobby for awhile longer. Many of those years were spent doing more bead “buying” and bead “fondling” than actually working with them . Does this mean I’m addicted to beads? I also love playing with paper and making collage and altered art.
I have had two beading projects published in Bead&Button magazine but continue to work mainly for my own please and enjoyment
What really makes me happy is I love to bead and I love to make things that you can actually wear. I also love the fact that you can have 10 colors of red seed beads, hey are all different and they are NEVER the color red you need! Do any of you have that same problem or is it just me?
When I can combine beads, pictures and paper and glitter to make jewelry where I can utilize are all the media that I love to work with, it is just like heaven. The closest thing I can compare that feeling to is when I am eating the center of the cinnamon roll
