Margie Deeb’s The Beader’s Color Palette
Our good friend and monthly contributor to BeadBugle.com is Margie Deeb and she has a very special day coming next month! It’s the release of her latest book The Beader’s Color Palette. If you are regular subscriber to BeadBugle.com, you will have already seen excerpts from the book featured in her monthly column, Margie’s Muse. With over 220 color palettes and 20 projects featured in the book you are introduced to the world of color for beading and beaded jewelry. Her approach is fresh and informative with the use of color palette icons that show you colors in a given palette and even goes one step further by adding the gemstones and Delica bead numbers that will match and compliment the color palette.
Some of worlds leading bead makers and jewelry designers have collaborated in Margie’s book. See the art of Robin Atkins, Thom Atkins, Joan Babcock, Frieda Bates, Paulette Baron, Cheryl Cobern-Browne , Ilene Combs Blanco, Jean Campbell, Jamie Cloud Eakin, Jeannette Cook, SaraBeth Cullinan, Carol Cypher, Wendy Ellsworth, Marcia DeCoster, Margie Deeb (of course!)Margo Field, Diane Guzman, Mary Hicklin, Heidi Kummli, KLEW (Karen Lewis), Kristy Nijenkamp, Kim Price, Elizabeth Ann Scarborough, Tracey Rodgerson, Sherry Serafini, Rebecca Brown Thompson, and Carol Zilliacus displayed in Margie’s book The Beader’s Color Palette.

Amazon.Com thinks like we do… "Confused by color? Don’t be. Get The Beader’s Color Palette, a priceless resource for beaders seeking inspiration for their jewelry designs. Author Margie Deeb presents 220 palettes inspired by five diverse themes, along with examples of finished jewelry and 20 step-by-step projects that interpret those themes. From the four elements (air, fire, water, and earth), to artists’ palettes (from ancient Egyptian through modern art), from world cultures (including Latin America, India and Tibet, Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East) to environments (rainforests, the Southwest, the Mediterranean), to the natural world (marine life, birds, insects)--these palettes capture the essence of countless human experiences and dreams. Beginners will love the basics section on off-loom stitches, loom weaving, and stringing; more advanced beaders will be inspired to take on the wide world of beautiful color."
